Steve and Stan join forces with Ray Lamari and Paul Scofield “the best rhythm section in Cairns“ to form this entertaining quartet. Stan Rockman is the young guitarist who has musicians in the Far North talking. Only one word describes Stan, “Prodigy”, anyone who has witness this amazing guitarist is left bewildered at how someone so young could sound like he has been playing  guitar like virtuosos with 30 and 40 years experience.

Ray Lamari has been in the music industry since he was 16 and has one of the best music CV’s in the Far North.  Having toured extensively throughout Australia, there would not be many musicians who could boast that they have played and supported artists of the calibre of  John Paul Young, Swanee, Phil Emmanuel, Diesel. INXS, Jimmy Barnes, Jenny Morris, The Radiators, The Angels, Mental as Anything, Dragon just to name a few. More recently Ray was performing with a blues band in Brisbane which took out the title for best band at the BaseQ (Brisbane and South East Qld) blues festival. Earning them a headline position at the Goulburn blues and Roots festival. What makes Ray stand out from other drummers is not only his incomparable talent and professionalism but his ability as a true performer, Ray delivers a lively, visually entertaining experience.

Paul Scofield is one of the regions finest bass men and coupled with his vocal abilities and harmonies he rounds out this formidable outfit. His 20 year association with Ray is evident in the music, and the synergy between these two form a rhythm section without peer. Slick bass lines and hypnotizing rhythms is what you get every time Paul steps on stage. Paul also bring a wealth of experience as a professional sound engineer having worked with a list of artist that reads like a who’s who of international music. Paul ensures that the sound quality matches the performance of this entertaining collaboration.
